Our beloved New England Patriots kick off their season in just under a month, but Pats football can’t come soon enough for many anxious fans. Whether you can’t stop re-watching Super Bowl LI highlights or you find yourself going deep into Eric Decker’s Instagram, it’s time to stop what you're doing and spend your time on something worthwhile.


Here are 10 facts about the greatest quarterback of all-time that will hopefully help you through these next few weeks.


1. Brady first met his wife Gisele on a blind date. (USA Today)


2. Brady was drafted as a catcher in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft by the Montreal Expos but decided not to sign. (USA)


3. One of Brady’s brother-in-laws is ex-Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis, who is married to TB12’s sister. (USA)


4. As a part of his daily routine, Brady plays brain games on his laptop and/or iPad to keep his mind sharp. (Boston)


5. Brady has never had a sip of coffee in his life. (Boston)


6. While on the sideline during a game, Brady drinks a special drink concoction instead of the normal Gatorade provided to the players. “I have this lemon drink with a ton of electrolytes in it,” Brady explained on sports radio station WEEI, “It doesn’t have any sugar.
