I was awoken in the deepest hours of the night to find something I only imagined would appear in my worst nightmares. Although my doctors tell me “Scott, you can’t talk about LeBron James any longer--your blood pressure is getting far too high," I cannot avoid reporting this news.
The ever-humble LeBron James continued his reign of shenanigans this weekend as he crowned himself King.
While putting on his golden crown, the classy LeBron James (3-5 in the NBA Finals) rattled off his wonderful stats: “30,000 points, 7,000 rebounds, 7,000 assists.” And of course, he remembered to mention that he is “the youngest ever to do that.” Interesting though how “The King” forgot to mention that he scored exactly six points combined in the fourth quarters of Game 1, 2, 3 of the NBA Finals last year, but we won’t talk about that. Now, if you look closely at LeBron’s shirt you’ll see that it says, “Victory Never Stops.”
That’s interesting now, isn’t it?

All years victory stopped for “The King.”
In any case, it’s really amazing to see a millionaire athlete crown himself a king. Truly inspiring stuff, but LeBron wasn’t done there. “The King” responded to the criticism of TV host Laura Ingraham who suggested that James should “shut up and dribble.” Of course, LeBron James was having none of that. If he was to just shut up and dribble he wouldn’t be able to remind us of how great he is. Though I suppose we could still learn that important information from his #StriveForGreatness hat.
