Fortnite Real Estate: A Comprehensive Report

Earlier today, Third and Long posted a poll on its facebook page asking the question of the century: If the Fortnite Island was real and you could live anywhere on it, where would you live? If you haven’t voted yet please do--you can find the link here.

The Top Choices:

Tilted Towers: If you like an urban environment, there is no better choice than the de facto capital of the Fortnite Island. Tilted Towers is truly the heart and soul of the island and is certainly an extremely high energy location. We’re basically dealing with the New York of Fortnite here.

Pleasant Park: This suburban town is probably the best place on the island to raise children. It’s just outside the city of Tilted Towers and is also pretty close to the great vacation destination of Loot Lake. I would imagine Pleasant Park to have a lovely community atmosphere, and it is strongly endorsed by close friend of Third and Long and highly respected Fortnite player Robert Dorito.

Fatal Fields: If you’re into farming, you’ll fit right in at the great Fatal Fields. This massive farm would probably supply an overwhelming majority of the island’s food production, so being the head of Fatal Fields would be a very lucrative position.

Salty Springs: Just outside of Fatal Fields, Salty Springs is a slightly more rural version of Pleasant Park. It’d certainly be a nice, peaceful place to live, and it has the convenience of being so close to the island’s farm. Plus, it isn’t very far from Tilted Towers.

The Odd Choices:

Wailing Woods: Third and Long’s Hamsky is a strong supporter of this forested hideout. While I have no particular issue with Wailing Woods, I believe that it’d be a really strange place to live. You’d be isolated out in the wilderness in a house that’s surrounded by a maze. I guess this would be Henry David Thoreau’s pick.

Lonely Lodge: I guess I would prefer Lonely Lodge over Wailing Woods, but again, you’re still gonna be in an isolated forest surrounded by Wailing Woods, the highly overrated Retail Row, the island’s prison, and the gross Moisty Mire. I suppose this would be an excellent choice for a camping trip, but I think it’s a highly questionable choice for a full-time home.

Tomato Town?: Yes, Tomato Town. Is it a good place to go when playing Fortnite? No. Would it be a great place to live? Probably not. However, Tomato Town has a fantastic name and is in a league of its own. You’d be lucky to call it your home.

The Underrated Choices:

The House in Loot Lake: This probably isn’t a full time location, but it is definitely a fantastic summer home. Maybe you live in Tilted Towers and you just wanna get out of the city for a little while, so why not come to the island inside an island?

Mountain House Outside of Snobby Shores: Who wouldn’t want to live in a house atop a giant mountain? This is certainly Big Baller-tier real estate.

The Newbie: Lucky Landing is new to the Fortnite Island and is under a formal review by the Third and Long Bureau of Investigation. Early reports are positive.

The Worst Place To Live?: The 100% correct answer to this question is Moisty Mire. It’s just completely terrible.

The Choice: Snobby Shores tops the list as the best place to live on the Fortnite Island. Snobby Shores would provide a closely knit coastal community that is both secluded and not too far from the city of Tilted Towers. Plus, as Jake Dudley pointed out in the comment section today, Snobby Shores has a fantastic bunker for whatever emergency may come about. Whether it be an invasion, a natural disaster, or the apocalypse, the Snobby Shores bunker will keep you safe.
